I love bananas in smoothies, they provide not only a wonderful flavor but a rich and hearty texture.  They are a good reason why this breakfast smoothie will keep you full.  The oatmeal further keeps you satiated throughout the day and the maple …. well maple syrup is just damn tasty!

Frozen bananas are not a bad idea when making this shake in the morning.  The less ice you need to add the better the flavor is going to be!

Maple Oatmeal Breakfast Smoothie Recipe: Made with bananas, yogurt, oatmeal and maple syrup, this breakfast is healthy and delicious!

Serves: 2 servings
  • 2 Bananas
  • 1 Cup Milk
  • 1 Cup Yogurt
  • ½ Cup Plain Instant Oatmeal
  • 2 Tablespoons Maple Syrup
  • ⅛ Teaspoon Fresh Nutmeg
  • Ice
  1. Add all ingredients except ice to blender and blend on high.
  2. Add 1 ice cube at a time until shake reaches your desired texture.
  3. Serve immediately.
