Pumpkin Spice French Toast

Pumpkin Spice French Toast Recipe:  If I could fit a white girl with yoga pants tucked inside UGGs into this picture I would have!  Fall is in the air and as we all know it is that time of year again:  Pumpkin Spice Mania!  This pumpkin spice french toast recipe is sure to send your fall brunch game into Beast Mode!

I have fond autumn memories of my mother’s french toast.  The maple aroma was the best alarm clock ever invented.  Adding pumpkin to the mix was a no-brainer for me.  The nutmeg and cinnamon are a perfect match for french toast and combined with the pumpkin puree, this french toast tastes like a warm pumpkin pie for breakfast!

Some whipped cream is not a bad choice when serving these bad boys either!  I devoured this french toast in about 3 seconds flat as soon as I was done photographing them.  That’s probably the only thing I dislike about doing this blog is having to snap a bunch of pictures while staring at a plate full of delicious food.  I think it probably a good idea to eat before starting a new post.  You could equate it to going food shopping on a an empty stomach… not the best of ideas since you will probably come home with a shopping cart full of cookies and ice cream!

So the next time you are looking for a new take on fall breakfast, this may be the recipe for you!  And expect a whole lot more of pumpkin flavored recipes in the next coming months!

That picture almost didn’t make the cut, I couldn’t put this bite in my mouth any faster!
