Kiwi-Strawberry Smoothies Recipe: My love affair for kiwi-strawberry flavored beverages began with the extremely popular drink released by Snapple Tea Company many years ago. The taste at the time was wholly unique and just blew you away. And what a refreshing flavor! I remember grabbing that distinctly pink bottle from the refrigerator at the local convenience store and anticipating gulping it down in a single chug.
The beauty of this smoothie is that it is a low calorie beverage. And by subbing out whole milk for skim, you can add this simple to make shake to your daily routine for a nice little burst of anti-oxidants. One of the things I love about smoothies are how easy they are to make. I tried juicing for awhile but it takes about 30 minutes to clean the damn machine once your done with it. Also, you lose a lot of the fruit’s skin when juicing which takes away a lot of the nutrients.
I recommend blending these smoothies up after a nice workout… You’ll feel amazing!
