Autumn Clove Spiced Red Wine Sangria

      - 2 Apples
  - 1 Pear
  - 1 Orange
  - 3 Whole Star Anise
  - ⅛ Teaspoon Ground Cloves
  - 2 Cinnamon Sticks
  - ¼ Teaspoon Fresh Nutmeg
  - 1 Cup Brandy
  - 1 Bottle Red Wine (I prefer something medium bodied)
  - 2 Cups Sparkling Water
  
      - Cut fruit into small pieces and place in a pitcher.
  - Pour brandy over fruit.
  - Pour wine over top of that.
  - Add spices and stir.
  - Cover and refrigerate for at least 24 hours.
  - Add sparkling water right before serving.
